New Year New Me

Well here I am again, its been a while! Almost 3 months to be exact. There is lots going on in our life right now. I think I have almost recovered from all the Holiday hoopla. However I must say I still have two xmas trees up and they must come down this week in order for me to stay sain. We had a wonderful xmas. Madison got lots of toys like normal, half of which she does not play with. Her favs were her electric scooter and her nintendo DS. Kris and I did get her a dog as an early xmas present, but she is really not a fan of his. Paxton is a yellow lab and is 13 weeks old not, he is a busy puppy but a great addition to our family.

Madison started basketball this week and loves it. The only problem is she is not a natural, it is definitely a talent that needs to be cultivated. I had to miss her first game, because my boutique had a photo shoot. It was alot of fun and was a wonderful turn out. I can truly say that god has blessed me in many ways. He is good and always gives me just what I need! I also started spring cheerleading, but had to miss the first game to because of the photo shoot. I hate that I missed all my girls:( I will be back next week.

I do know one thing this year is going to be a better year then the last and will bring me new opportunities in family and business. I am looking forward to starting over fresh and making 09 wonderful!

Deffinetly not a blogger:(

I think I have resigned myself to believe that I am not a blogger. I read all these wonderful fun mommy/homemaker blogs and so wanna be there. I just want to be like them, simply wonderful. I will push through however and try to be a better blogger, but I don't know how much longer I can hang on. Anyway, I have been pretty much drowning in tutus and have seriously wondered why I even got into this venture. People are so rude and inpatient and I don't have the time to deal with that in my life. I do however love the creative part of it. I have decided to branch out a little bit with my tutus and have started to do pillowcase dresses, fun tops, and ribbon shirts. I need to come up with some baby boy stuff:O) I did however get most of my tutus finished, so now I am a little less stressed and have to move on too my Christmas photo shoot which is on Nov.2 Be on the look out for all my creations. I am truly blessed with all the good fortune that has come my way.

Between Cotton Candy Tutus and cheerleading it has been a whirlwind of a last couple months. We have competition coming up and Cheerfest that we need to get ready for. We have been practicing hard and I think we will do excellent. I have done my best and my best is all I can do with everything. The saying that has come into my head alot lately is if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. I am stressed beyond belief, but I could not ask for a better life.

On the home front Madison is doing well. She has a tooth coming in behind a baby tooth. The problem is the baby tooth is not mobile and it puts her mommy in a panic. I have a fascination with teeth and my kid can not have horrible teeth. I have been praying for the last couple nights that it comes out and I think it maybe mobile folks. I will have to take a picture and share. We have Madison's conference on Wednesday. I know she is doing great, despite what she says. She tell me that she has know friends, but for some reason I don't totally believe the child. I will ask at her conference, just to make sure she is not a cast of in 1st grade. I can not believe Halloween is almost here I have not even enjoyed my favorite month, to much stress.:( We had out Cheerleading Halloween party this Saturday and it was also one of my cheerleaders bday. It was fun!! Amber and I had out make up done at MAC and went as a Good witch and Bad witch, I was so disappointed in my makeup and felt like I looked like poo. As you can see from the above pic.

On that note I will end my little negative session and return when I have happier things to speak about. Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!

Wow, my second blog!

Ahh, were to start. So much to say and so little time. Today we had our Chili's night for the cheerleaders. This is were 10% of the proceeds go to our Giants team, we had a great turn out and it was lots of fun! Things like this really remind me why I love coaching my little cheerleaders. Now I am back at home getting ready to watch Martha Stewart's Halloween, it doesn't get any better then that. I should be making tutus instead, but to be honest I would rather stub my toe then do those right now.

I have a meeting tomorrow with the city and then a coaches meeting tomorrow night. I really wonder when I decided to do all this, it is really overwhelming at times but is so fulfilling at the same time. Weird, I know! I do thank God every night for the blessings he has given me, but feww I need a vacation. Toots and I are going to the Pumpkin Patch with Julie and Caroline on friday, so that she be fun. Toots loves her some Caroline!!! Maybe it will give Julie a well deserved break with Madison around. For some reason every times she gets around Caroline she feels the need to carry her everywhere and kiss her all over. The funny thing is Caroline loves it, kid doesn't mind being carried everywhere at all. Heck I would like to be carried everywhere too.:) I will post pics after we get back. Thanks, Heather for telling me how to do the pics. I can only hope one day my blog will look as good as yours. Till next time!

Oh golly gee its my first blog!

Well here goes nothing or very well might be something. I have been contemplating stating another blog for awhile. I have been reading so many fun and inspirational blogs that I wanted my very own. I think now is the best time for me to start since my life is better then it has ever been. I am super busy and it is just the way I like it. I never dreamed that I would have a business that has been doing so well. I have a wonderful husband that just opened his own insurance agency and a vivacious little 6 year old girl that I lovingly refer to as "Toots". I think now is the perfect time to start posting blogs since it is my favorite time of the year and I can share all my crazy ideas and life with everyone.

Today was a very busy day, as usually Saturday's are. We started bright and early at 6:30 am and put together what I thought was going to be a very unproductive garage sale. I had already told my husband, Kris that I was to busy and did not have time to get anything ready to sell. My mother and father in law spent the night last night in order to get up bright and early and get everything ready. We put everything out and then off Kris, me , Toots, and Jessica (my sister in law) went to our football game. We cheer for the 1st grade Giants and I love it. Well I don't cheer I just coach, Toots cheers:) My little cheerleaders are not so peppy in the AM, but oh how I still love coaching them and love them as if they were all my own. We ofcourse win our game, that make us now 3-0. We won the Superbowl last year and hope to keep our title this year, I think we might make it. Go Giants! When we were finished cheering the boys on we hopped back to the house to see what we had sold at our very sparse garage sale. To my surprise my mother in law had sold a bulletin board and one of Tootes old pic nic tables. I had made a whopping $5! Now that put me in the mood, I immediately ran up to Tootes room and got all her old clothes and then went to mine and pulled out some not so cute purses I never use. I then included all my stuff in the garage sale and it sold faster then anyone, I was so pleased:) I ended the day with $60, not a lot but way more then I had thought it would be.

The day is now over and I need to get ready for tomorrow. We have a long day tomorrow as well. We will be attending the Dallas Cowboys game with our friends Amber and Jeff they were so nice and invited us. What a lucky girl I am! I probably talked a little to much for my first blog, but hey I am new and have lots to learn in this blog world. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Check back soon.
